Our detailed design process

In order to guarantee an appropriate layout is provided on our first attempt as your kitchen designer, we need to provide our design team a good understanding and specifications of your interior space and kitchen area, we ask for the following information prior to your initial kitchen design consultation.

The information provided will be our basecamp and our point of reference on the entire project, please indicate how you wish to use the kitchen, express which practical elements to consider and aesthetic likes and dislikes. The more information provided will give our kitchen designers an easier task to present to you your ideal kitchen design and provide a quote fitting to requirements & budget.

Initial Consultation

Every kitchen creation or design begins with a simple enquiry, we know you’re looking for information and have done plenty of research already. At Krieder we begin to understand what you’re planning to undertake, whether it's a kitchen renovation, bespoke modern new build or an extension to your current kitchen. Kitchen Survey & Planning

Once you’re ready to move forward our specialist team will visit your property to take precise measurements of your kitchen to ensure we create the perfect fit, the team will also be able see the bigger picture of your project, taking into account the finer details, electrical mounts, water & heating supplies and any other design challenges that can sometimes be overlooked. As well as taking measurements and notes of your proposed kitchen space our kitchen designers will run through the best design options for your kitchen and discuss the budget with you to ensure we are working together with all aspects of design and cost.

Kitchen Design Meeting

After we’ve taken all the accurate measurements and notes our survey team will relay all details to the kitchen design team. You then will receive a call from your kitchen designer to discuss your kitchen and run through dates where you can visit the showroom to see your kitchen design for the first time.

Now comes the exciting part! We will present to you your kitchen using 3d technology, giving you an immersive experience. This allows you to visualise the space, discuss any potential changes and receive a detailed quotation for the project.

Project Management

Now your designs are signed off and the budget is agreed, this is officially the design and build stage and we begin the build of your new kitchen. You can sit back and relax whilst we build your dream kitchen.

During this time your designated kitchen designer will work with you to agree timescales for the fitting and installation of your kitchen. A dedicated project manager will then be assigned to your kitchen to provide a day-by-day project plan. Your project manager is hand on to manage any questions or queries you may have about the services, timescales or financial matters.

Delivery & Installation

When your made-to-measure dream kitchen is complete, our expert team will deliver to your home and prepare for installation. Your kitchen designer and project manager will be on hand to oversee every aspect of your kitchen, from painting, laying of flooring to installing work surfaces. We’ll also make sure that your kitchen installation causes little disruption to home life as possible by completing the fitting as quickly and efficiently as possible.
